Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is designed to meet the relationship where it is. Every couple brings a unique history, communication style, set of wounds, and hope for what could be different.
Together, we look at the patterns that have developed between you, including the places where communication breaks down, emotional distance grows, or conflict becomes repetitive and painful. Rather than focusing on blame, the work centers on understanding what each partner is longing for, protecting against, and struggling to express.
Couples therapy creates space to slow down the conflict, understand the patterns underneath it, and begin rebuilding trust, honesty, and connection.
This process may support partners navigating conflict, disconnection, infidelity, trust repair, intimacy concerns, parenting stress, life transitions, recovery, or the impact of substance use on the relationship. The goal is to create a safer space for honesty, accountability, emotional connection, and practical change.
My approach is collaborative and tailored, drawing primarily from Solution-Oriented Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy.
